Clinical Advisory Board
Expertise behind every word we publish
NAFPOC education is reviewed by professionals who work with hair loss every day. The board is being seated now, and we are actively inviting clinicians, researchers and advocates to serve.
Composition
Six disciplines, one standard of understanding
Hair loss sits at the intersection of dermatology, metabolic health, culture and mental health. Our board is built to reflect that.
Dermatology
Board-certified dermatologists with expertise in scarring alopecias, textured hair and skin of color, reviewing clinical accuracy across our education.
Trichology
Certified trichologists who see scalp change early and translate what happens between appointments into practical guidance.
Research
Investigators shaping our grant priorities, registry design and the questions the field has not yet answered.
Nutrition & Metabolic Health
Clinicians addressing deficiency, thyroid and metabolic contributors, including hair shedding after rapid weight loss and GLP-1 therapy.
Psychology & Mental Health
Specialists in body image, grief and chronic illness who help us speak about hair loss with the seriousness it deserves.
Patient Advocates
People living with hair loss who keep every program grounded in real experience rather than assumption.
